Yeah that's their "Advanced Vehicle Experience concept truck" - you're not going to see those on the road other than for testing.

I actually saw that truck, in March of last year, at the Truck Show in Louisville, KY.

The keep going on today with carbon fiber. Wait until that guy on the fork lift turns and puts a fork through the side of that trailer. The cost would be unthinkable to repair that because it is one solid piece. Even on the truck when it gets into an accident, the cost would be insane to have it repaired. Ford is producing the new GT350 with carbon fiber wheels. Just wait until someone slides into a curb and cracks that thing into pieces. A regular aluminum wheel is about 700 to 1000 dollars imagine a carbon fiber wheel. I will stick to my steel and aluminum.

The reason for carbon fiber is weight. Right now, the most one could haul is roughly 45,000 pounds.

With carbon fiber, you might be able to squeeze in some more weight.

Ya im guessin its powerless heavily monitored and one step away from having an autopilot i prefer clean deisel with a strong metal frame body and lots of power this way the truck will avoid hazardous situations not pollute and last long enough that an o/o doesnt get scrud into a lease where the truck req weekly maintain in the 1000's only to need a new motor just before the lease ends which isnt covered they should make school buses electric not a vehicle designed to function in the worst weather cond which supplies the worlds needs

I would probably glue a button to the dash and put a label over it that says "warp drive", maybe request via CB if anyone has a spare flux capacitor.

It's cool, but I couldn't help but make rocket noises when I roll from a red light.
